OPERATION WALK USA DECEMBER 5 - DECEMBER 10, 2016


Operation Walk USA
is an independent medical humanitarian organization that provides free hip or knee replacement surgeries to patients in the US. Operation Walk USA benefits US citizens and permanent residents who do not qualify for government assistance programs and cannot afford surgery on their own. Operation Walk USA is committed to helping those in need by restoring their mobility, self dignity and productivity, thus helping them return to work and their social activities.

2016 At-a-Glance:
March 15 - Online patient registration is now OPEN.
May 1 - Updated 2016 Participation Guidelines released, and Site registration opens.
June 1 - The 2015 Annual Impact Report released.
May-June - A series of webinars for repeat and new participants offered.
June-August - Hospitals' commitments secured.
September-November - Patient clearing process. Administrative forms completed. Implant requests processed. Local and national media outreach planned and implemented.
December 5-10 - The 2016 Operation Walk USA.
