Operation Walk USA
is an independent medical humanitarian organization that provides free hip or knee replacement surgeries to patients in the US. Operation Walk USA benefits US citizens and permanent residents who do not qualify for government assistance programs and cannot afford surgery on their own. Operation Walk USA is committed to helping those in need by restoring their mobility, self dignity and productivity, thus helping them return to work and their social activities.

May 9 - The General Participation Guidelines are released and online registration opens
June - Webinars are offered to participants
September 1 - Site registration deadline; Sites advise of estimated numbers of patients to be treated during Operation Walk USA week and submit implant projections
September-November - Patient clearing proces, including patients referred by Operation Walk USA central management office.
September - Implant request information available from Companies; various deadlines and regulations will apply
October - December - Local and national media outreach activities take place
November 28 - Administrative forms are submitted to Operation Walk USA
December 1 - Ortech registry opens
December 5 - 10 - Operation Walk USA - 2016
