Many orthopaedic surgeons routinely reach out and give back to their communities through their charitable work. They have a powerful local impact on the lives of those who need help. So why participate in a national campaign like Operation Walk USA?
Because strength is in numbers. More than 55 physicians conducting surgeries across the United States during the course of two specific days will create a national story that will be both inspiring and compelling. It will underscore the value of orthopaedics in improving the lives of patients. It will highlight the compassionate, caring nature of the specialty—and of the participating orthopaedists.
